Dance for Parkinson’s–Oregon
Dance for Parkinson’s Oregon offers free dance classes (donations gladly accepted) in Portland for people with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners (no partner required) Dance is exercise! Participants stretch and strengthen muscles, focusing on balance and rhythm through many styles of dance and music. Classes are taught by professional dancers trained in the Dance for PD method, developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group and Brooklyn Parkinson Group.
