The History Museum of Hood River County
This exceptional historical museum offers a unique collection of memorabilia from everyday life, from the early Native American cultures to contemporary windsurfing and fruit industry. Special exhibits include: WWII Japanese Internment, 1930’s Kitchen, Turn of the Century Doctors Office and an early horse drawn laundry sleigh. The museum is open from Spring Vacation to Halloween, however, special tours may be scheduled during winter months if needed. Call ahead for hours and to make arrangements for special tour guide services and activities.
