Chuck Par-Due: Singer and Trumpet Player, Solo or Duo
Return to the Golden Age of the Big Bands!
I am a singer/trumpet player who has been playing for seniors for over 40 years. My vocals are in the Frank Sinatra style, and my trumpet playing is in the Harry James style. I have performed my Sinatra tribute all across America- I’ve played for Presidents Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford and George Bush I! On occasion, my wife Cheryl Morris, sings with me. She is a former vocalist with the Harry James Orchestra. We’ll remind you of singing greats Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme!
I am Portland-based, but available to travel!
Words of Praise for Chuck Par-Due:
“What a wonderful time!” Terry M.
“Hello Chuck and Cheryl, I just wanted to tell you both how very much I enjoyed you two and your musical performance last week. It was such a beautiful experience I didn’t want it to end. The evening was such a gift for me. What you all do is amazing! Sharing your talents and enthusiasm just filled me with absolute joy and happiness.
I also was so happy to talk with both of you, you were very sweet to share some of your time with me.
Thank-you for your beautiful voices, and for the stories, which I would love to keep hearing. You have a forever fan in me, I’m looking so forward to the next time.” Warmly, CJ
“Thank you again for your amazing show. The residents are still raving about it!” Destiny, Van Mall
“Chuck Par- Due and his lovely wife Cheryl are very entertaining. Chuck sounds like Frank Sinatra and Cheryl Sounds like Doris Day. My memory care residents thoroughly enjoy what they have to offer!” Dawn B., Life Enrichment Coordinator, Powell Valley Memory Care
“Chuck Pur-Due and his wife Cheryl performed for the annual SALT (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together) spaghetti luncheon on Feb. 18, 2013, in Camas, WA. They were fantastic! The crowd of 200 loved the musical selections from the big band era and they truly did sound like Frank Sinatra and Doris Day! Not only did they make themselves available on short notice and give a great performance, but they were also very personable and interacted with the seniors. I highly recommend Chuck and Cheryl.” Kasey F., Clark County Sheriff’s Office Community Outreach Unit
