Meredith Dalglish

Arts In Motion Presents…

MUSIC IMAGERY

Explore the unique concept of Music Imagery, developed by Meredith Dalglish. Music Imagery is a refreshing, inspiring program of world music, imagination, and more. The hands-on program encourages participants to engage, using percussion instruments. Meredith combines music with percussion and kazoo, story-telling, and even doggy- dancing! RECOMMENDATIONS:

“I would like to highly recommend Meredith Dalglish and her program Art in Motion for seniors. I used to work at Emerson House, a memory care community in Southeast Portland and I hired Meredith several times for her Musical program. Since the dementia population often needs extra attention and energy, I was delighted that Meredith brought a great deal of joy and enthusiasm to her program, utilizing music from around the world which was very melodic and rhythmic, and Meredith was in constant motion, encouraging residents to move along and play instruments, wave scarves, and generally be involved in the program. To top the occasion, she brought her dog along for some impromptu pet therapy. The residents loved the program, and I would encourage anyone in a senior community to schedule Meredith for a fun, unusual, and engaging hour.” Chris N., Life Enrichment Director, Whitewood Gardens
