Oregon Sinfonietta Community Orchestra

The Oregon Sinfonietta is a community orchestra in its 43rd season. The OS presents FREE concerts each year, most at the Sunnyside Adventist Church,  10501 SE Market St. in Portland. In addition, we have a concerto competition for young musicians in the fall, and the winners perform with the orchestra during the concert season.

Sunday, November 1: Elgar, Concerto for Cello in E., op.85; CMSO Competition Winner in Sibelius Symph. No. 2 in D, op.43

Sunday, January 17, 2016: Vaughan Williams, Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis; Haydn, Trumpet Concerto in Eb; CMSO Competition Winner in Beethoven Symph. No.7

Sunday, March 13, 2016:  Appert, Concerto for Viola and Orchestra (World Premiere); Brett Deubner, soloist in Scriabin No. 2 in c minor, op.29

Sunday, May 15, 2016: Mozart, Piano Concerto No.24 in c minor, K. 491; Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 5 in e minor, op.64
