Megan Rothstein- Ikebana Demonstrations & Classes (Japanese Fine Floral Art)

Megan Rothstein provides instruction and live demonstrations in Sogetsu Ikebana, a contemporary school of Japanese fine floral art. Ikebana is accessible to individuals with no background in art or floral arrangement, but also provides a unique perspective for experienced flower arrangers, gardeners and artists of all backgrounds. Megan can teach classes of up to 15 people or provide demonstrations of Ikebana arranging techniques to larger groups depending on the needs of your facility. The event can last between one to two hours and tools, such as containers and floral scissors, and all floral materials will be provided for all activites. Arrangements created in classes can be left in the facility for all residents to view for several days after the event. Ikebana techniques add a new perspective to any arts programming being offered and bring a cheerful and unique floral presence to any facility.




Service Fee: $30-$75 depending on the length of demonstration or class and/or the number of attendees needing materials.
