**Kudos Korner!!!!Activity Director Holli Wronski from West Hills Village has this to say about Storyteller Ken Iverson: “Having Ken out to our facility is an incredible treat; his lighthearted warmth and fun-loving stories make him a resident favorite!” Most recently, Ken did a program at West Hills for Grandparents’ Day! Please check out his listing under Storytellers and have him come to your facility one day soon!

**And…

I had the pleasure of watching one of ElderAudience’s newly listed performing groups last week: Hip Savvy, who are superbly graceful artists of belly dance! With their gorgeous costumes, varied music, and intricate and evocative choreography, Hip Savvy proves there is WAY more to belly dance than the cliche you may have in mind. I heartily recommend that you read more about Hip Savvy in the Dance category and see contact them to perform at your facility or event. When I saw them, I noted that residents, family members and staff all enjoyed seeing this group!

**And… Tego Burke, one of ElderAudience’s listed musicians, recently played guitar and sang at Summerplace Assisted Living. I spoke with staff there who reported great enthusiasm for Tego’s entertainment and said he was “Wonderful!” Tego has been playing music since he was a boy, and has lots of experience performing for seniors. In addition to guitar and vocals, Tego can even provide an entire soundtrack to create a “one man band” suitable for dancing! Read more about Tego Burke in the Music category and have him entertain at your facility or event.

** And finally…Another reminder about Greg Clarke, a long-time local favorite for traditional mandolin, banjo, fiddle and guitar music. I first came across Greg at the Hillsdale Farmers Market, where his voice and playing created the perfect atmosphere of beautiful, soulful country tunes. Greg plays around town in pubs like Sellwood’s Muddy Rudder and well as area senior facilities and other venues. The term “lively and nostalgic” really does sum up Greg’s special music! Please read about Greg Clarke in the Music category on ElderAudience and ask him to perform at your facility or event!

That’s it for now. Hope you have a great week.
