**How novel is this! Newly listed Live Calliope Entertainment by Matt Neill.
Matt Neill will bring one of his calliopes to your facility or event,
playing music from the era of showboats and the circus through the 1950′s.
Equally enjoyable indoors or outdoors. Volume is adjustable for the

**Announcing the return of Nicole White to ElderAudience. Nicole is
available to teach both Yoga with Chairs (exercise, relaxation,
stretching), as well as Painting&Crafting(several choices, including color
theory with acrylic paint, expressive painting, and collage). She even
offers a FREE mini-class of Chair Yoga to see what your residents

**Portland Civic Theatre Guild presents its First Tuesday Readers Theatre
event, The Road to Mecca, on Tuesday, December 1, 10 am, at the Old Church
in downtown Portland, The Old Church is located at 1422 SW 11th (at Clay).
Tickets are $6 and include coffee and light refreshments. For groups of

Synopsis: After the death of her husband, *Miss Helen* withdrew from and
alienated her tight-knit community by filling her house with mirrors and
candles and her yard with her own concrete sculptures, creating her own
“Mecca”. Her young friend, *Elsa*, comes to visit in response to a
troubling letter from Miss Helen on the same day that Miss Helen’s long
time friend and pastor visits to help her fill out an application to move
to the local Old Folks Home. A battle of wills ensues as Elsa champions
Miss Helen’s independence and artistic vision while *Pastor Byleveld
*tries to overcome his unease at Miss Helen’s ‘idolatry’ and assert his
heartfelt concern for her welfare.

**Remembering America’s Heroes announces a CHANGE OF ADDRESS for its BINGO
games, as of 12/1.Come on out for special games of BINGO, every Sunday and
Tuesday at 6:30pm, at the Milwaukie American Legion Post #180, 2146 SE
Monroe St, Milwaukie. Cash prizes! All proceeds benefit Remembering
America’s Heroes (RAH), a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to
educate students and the community about our Veterans and the “high cost
of freedom.” Also, Contact RAH to arrange for a speaker to who will
explain Remembering America’s Heroes Living History Day program. And, with
sufficient notice, some Holiday performances by students may also be
